Informasi Penting Blog Jendela Intuisi

Dear Teman blog… Mohon maaf atas matinya blog ini untuk waktu yang sangat lama dan tidak merespon segala bentuk pertanyaan. Alokasi Dinamis Memory C++

Sebelumnya kita tahu bahwa suatu program itu memiliki bobotnya sendiri. Untuk memasukkan sebuah nilai dari variabel saja membutuhkan memory didalam komputer. satu huruf atau angka tersebut disimpan dengan ukuran satu byte dari ber-giga-giga byte space yang kita miliki didalam komputer. Program yang baik adalah program yang tepat dan efisien, dan keefisienan dari program biasanya ditentukan berdasarkan kompleksitas. Ada dua jenis kompleksitas di dunia algoritma program yakni kompleksitas waktu dan ruang. Disini kita sedikit menyinggung hal yang terkait dengan kompleksitas ruang (Space). Di kompleksitas ruang kita mencoba meminimalisir memory yg digunakan. Berikut kita membahas alokasi dinamis Memory di C++.

Biasanya, di C ataupun C++ saat kita membuat variabel nama dengan char kita selalu mematok ukuran memori yang akan digunakan dengan array, sebagai contohnya:

char nama[100];  //--> Kita berharap panjang nama yang bersangkutan kuran dari 100 karakter.
//Problem yang muncul adalah: Ini tidak efisien thd Memori!

Kode diatas menjelaskan bahwa kita berharap variabel nama memiliki total kurang dari 100 karakter (dengan kata lain kita sudah memesan 100 byte ruang memori untuk variabel nama), padahal sering terjadi bahwa nilai alamat yang akan dipesan itu jika memang ternyata kurang dari 100 huruf maka kita sudah memboroskan memory. Jika kita berfikir effek domino dari ini semua, anggap persoalan ini muncul untuk data sensus penduduk yang bernilai jutaan orang dan masing2 orang memesan nilai maks tentu aplikasi yang digunakan memiliki potensi yang besar untuk Crash atau proses runningnya akan memakan waktu yang lama. Itu berarti aplikasi yang menerapkan cara demikian tidaklah ampuh.

Jadi bagaimana solusinya?
Kamu mungkin berfikir solusi untuk mengatasi hal ini adalah berikut:

Saat ini ane buat game itu tanpa banyak looping jadi cuma sampe level 2 (Opensource bagi yang suka ngembangin). Postingan ane berikutnya akan ane bikin penjelasan lebih terperinci dari PRNG (Pseudo Random Number Generate).
